Spend two days in downtown Portland, OR serving the underprivileged at the Downtown Chapel and Blanchet House
"Downtown Chapel in Portland is an eye-opening and enriching experience, especially for someone who has never dealt with poverty in any way or has never met or talked to someone who was homeless. You see and are confronted with the issue of poverty in an urban setting. The Downtown Chapel provides various services for the homeless in the Portland area, including but not limited to Friday night dinners,job search, getting a bus ticket, or like one man who all he asked for was a clean pair of underwear."
